Sizing Chart for Abdomend Support Binder & Strap - Post Surgery binder
Size Belly Measurement* Width of Binder
Petite 27” - 34” 6" wide
Small 32” - 40” 8" wide
Medium 38” - 46” 8" wide
Large 44” - 52” 10" wide
Voluptuous 50” - 54” 14" wide
*Measure around your belly 2” below your belly button at 9th Month of pregnancy. Take your measurement 2 inches below your belly button around the upper hip area, not up at the waist.
At 9th months Subtract 3-5” (4-8" twins) for POST Birth Guesstimate. Reduce pre birth weight by 10-15lbs for post birth weight. (twins 20lbs)
If you are not pregnant but need the support, just go with the measurement you read.

The chart above is based on an average height of 5'6". Please adjust to your needs. Tip: Weight, Height and type of body (larger hips vs breasts) Must be taken into account.
Example at 38 weeks: 47" measurement -4" for baby = 43" thats a medium size for post birth.
Pregnancy Support sizing guideline: When 7or 8 months pregnant, consider that you will be growing by 3 to 5 inches until your 8th and 9th month. We suggest 2 binders one in each size so you can have pregnancy support and after baby's birth support.
Note:Please be aware that your support binder may stretch while being worn during pregnancy. Women often buy one for pregnancy support, and a smaller size for after the birth. After surgery support is with the AbdoMend™Support binder and strap.
The best support immediately after a vaginal birth is with our Hem-It-In Binder which has a stronger inner elastic system. This binder may also be used for additional support 2-3 weeks after a C-Section or if you enjoy compression after your birth, surgical or vaginal.
Sizing Chart for Abdomend Hem-It-In-Binder - Vaginal birth, Laparoscopic surgery: This binder is smaller and compresses more than the After Surgery Binder above.
Size Belly Measurement* Width of Binder
Petite 24” - 34” 5" wide
Small 32” - 38” 6" wide
Medium 33” - 42” 8" wide
Large 38” - 47” 8" wide
Voluptuous 48” - 59” 10" wide
Tip: To make the Hem-It-In Binder smaller, turn it inside out.
Your AbdoMend™ Recovery binders are designed with 6 to 9 inches of adjustability to help you transition through your recovery and back to your unique pre-pregnancy shape.
Tip:Weight, Height and type of body (larger hips vs breasts) Must be taken into account.
